Driving.ca begins new campaign

CanWest MediaWorks Publications has begun a new ad campaign to promote its Driving.ca automotive website. The ads portray the website as an easy and convenient way to purchase a new or used car. Six executions will run on transit systems and online, seeking to lead consumers to specific cars based on lifestyle. The ad aimed at single men reads, “See our top three chick magnets.” The ad aimed at families reads, “Congratulations on the triplets.” The ads will run on various websites for men and women, as well as on bus backs in Toronto, Vancouver, Montreal, Ottawa, Calgary, Edmonton, Victoria and Windsor. The campaign will run from April 3 to May 3. “This campaign puts options right in front of consumers and proposes ideas based on what we think they’re looking for,” said Laura Pearce, general manager of Driving.ca. “We’ve created the message that Driving.ca is the destination to find their perfect fit.”
