ROYAL BANK INTRODUCES NEW CREDIT CARD
By Adnews Staff
The Royal Bank of Canada will introduce a new credit card on May 1 that saves users money, brings them bonuses and insures the goods they buy. The Gingko Group of Toronto has created national print, TV, direct mail and in-branch advertising for the card, named Visa Classic II. Instant discounts on purchases of goods and services go as high as 25%. Classic II holders get automatic insurance against breakage, theft or loss for 90 days after the date of purchase. They can also obtain 5% discounts on holiday packages and get up to 40% off with car rentals and hotels, if all these things are booked through the bank's TravelExpress service. On top of this, whenever people use the card they gain points redeemable for goods at Eaton's and RadioShack stores.
