LOYALTY TELECOMMUNICATIONS HIRES PR AGENCY

Wolf Campbell Public Relations won Loyalty Telecommunications' public relations account last week. The PR arm of the Wolf Group in Toronto won the business in a competition with nine other agencies. "Their creative impact on the launch of Loyalty's programs was world class," Loyalty president Steve Johnston told Adnews last week. Four contenders are now waiting to find out who will get Loyalty's ad acount. Bates O'Rourke, Saatchi & Saatchi Advertising, Genesis Media and the Wolf Group are on the short list. A decision will be made in a month. Later this year Loyalty will launch a customer rewards program offering free long-distance phone service as a bonus for patronizing certain businesses. Loyalty is a private Toronto company owned by a group of Canadian investors.
