ACLK CHANGING NAME
By Adnews Staff
Toronto-based Ambrose Carr Linton Kelly will soon change the "Kelly" in its name to "Carroll". It has been four years since Richard Kelly was president of the ad agency. What's more, since Esmé Carroll moved into the president's office two large accounts have come through the doors. Earlier this year, ACLK won back the Harvey's fast food chain, which it had lost in 1992. Shortly after winning Harvey's, the agency took all of the Honda Canada account. ACLK had been handling Honda's Acura division since 1980. When Carroll joined the agency last September she replaced Martin Kingston, who left last June to become co-general manager at D'Arcy, Masius, Benton & Bowles in Toronto. ACLK chairman Doug Linton wouldn't say yesterday whether Carroll will be a partner in Ambrose Carr Linton Carroll and Carroll herself was unavailable to comment.
