Ian Gordon has departed the position of president of Toronto-based ACLC. He has joined Loblaw Companies as senior vice-president and LBL grocery lead. Gordon became president of ACLC in 2006. Prior to that, he was vice-president of strategic branding at Doug Agency. He has also worked at Robin Hood Multifoods, Unilever, Molson, Delisle Foods and Frito-Lay. "It was an extremely difficult decision for me," said Gordon. "We have created some fantastic momentum here at ACLC and Push, and there is a great sense of energy at the agency. However, I couldn't resist my passion for food and the opportunity to work on one of the most iconic brands in Canada." According to Esmé Carroll, chairman and CEO of the agency, a new president of ACLC will be announced shortly.
