New president at ACLC

Ian Gordon will become president of Toronto-based ACLC on Nov. 20. Outgoing president Esmé Carroll will remain at the agency as chairman and CEO. Gordon is currently vice-president of strategic branding at Doug Agency. He has also worked at Robin Hood Multifoods, Unilever, Molson, Delisle Foods and Frito-Lay. “It’s the right time to bring in new leadership,” said Carroll. “The agency has a lot of momentum, with a number of recent account wins including Mercedes-Benz Canada, our move to offices in downtown Toronto and our launch of the Push Interactive division. We’re ready to have fresh leadership to build on that strong foundation for growth.”
