Scotiabank, Cineplex Entertainment ready loyalty program

Scotiabank and Cineplex Entertainment have formed what the two companies describe as a “long-term partnership agreement” that will include the creation of a customer loyalty program aimed at movie-goers. The program, which will launch next year, will include all Scotiabank branches and electronic channels as well as media rights and naming rights at five Cineplex theatres. “Cineplex and Scotiabank share a common vision to create Canada's first and foremost entertainment loyalty program that will provide members with fun rewards that they can redeem quickly,” said Rick Waugh, president and CEO of Scotiabank. “This unique partnership will enable Canadians to earn rewards by doing the things they enjoy, like going to the movies or doing their everyday banking. Cineplex is a great partner because of their strong presence in the movie business and fabulous facilities.” No other details of the program are currently available.
