Honda begins emissions awareness campaign

Automaker Honda Canada has begun a new digital campaign called “Driven to Reduce Emissions Since 1948.” The effort focuses on the reduced carbon dioxide emissions of its vehicles and their environmental benefits. The campaign also highlights the fuel efficiency of the company’s cars. According to the company, this is the first campaign of its kind for Honda Canada. It includes government-verified CO2 emission ratings posted online at Honda.ca for each model of vehicle the company sells in Canada.

“Bringing CO2 emission information to consumers' attention aligns with our belief that lowering emissions of vehicles on the road in Canada is the best way for us to help combat climate change,” said Dave Gardner, president and CEO of Honda Canada. “Our customers can still choose to drive a Honda vehicle for all of the traditional benefits we bring to the market, such as dependability, quality and reliability, while now being aware of their impact on the environment.”
