Y&R TO SHARE INFO GLOBALLY

Young & Rubicam of New York has bought a computer program from Emotion Inc. of California, which will shorten production cycles and make it easier to share creative resources. The software allows Y&R to move video, print ads and other such items electronically among its offices and to clients around the world. This is the second major agency to buy such a program from Emotion. True North Communications of Chicago, parent of FCB, bought the same software in June.
