H&K REVAMPS COMMUNICATIONS TRAINING

Hill & Knowlton Canada has revamped its Communications Training team and curriculum. This division of the public relations company teaches executives how to present their best face to the media. H&K has changed the way it trains people to behave in the public eye because journalists have changed the way they interview, Toronto communications director Denny Allen told Adnews this week. Allen came to her job in September, replacing Jeff Ansell who has started his own company. Previously Allen managed H&K's government affairs department in Toronto. She has also been a Queen's Park correspondent for Broadcast News/Canadian Press. Kathie Lynas is director of communications training in the Ottawa office. Most recently she was a senior consultant for H&K in Ottawa. Daniel Bordeleau started up a new communications training three months ago in H&K's Montreal office. Formerly, he was a financial reporter for Radio-Canada, the French version of CBC. In Ottawa Kathy Lynas has been handling the assignment for the past year.
