WUNDERMAN BUYS THE REST OF FIRSTCOM

Wunderman Cato Johnson North America of Chicago has bought Firstcom Cato Johnson Canada. As a result Firstcom will be named Firstcom Marketing Inc., and Wunderman Worldwide of Toronto will operate under the Wunderman Cato Johnson banner. Managing director Mona Goldstein will continue in that position. Firstcom president Dan Plouffe will continue in the same role at the newly formed company. Wunderman is the direct marketing arm of Young & Rubicam. Wunderman already owned 51% of Firstcom, a sales promotion company.
