Moosehead releases Space Beer
By Derek Winkler
Moosehead Breweries has released a limited-time product called Moosehead Space Beer. The freeze-dried beer is intended to commemorate the first Canadian astronaut to travel to the moon. Jeremy Hansen of the Canadian Space Agency will be one of four crewmembers of NASA’s Artemis II lunar fly-by mission, currently scheduled for April. The non-alcoholic Space Beer will be sold exclusively through Moosehead’s Instagram page.
“This is an incredible moment for our country,” said Andrew Oland, president and CEO of Moosehead Breweries. “As a brewery that has been 100% Canadian-owned for more than 150 years, Moosehead is proud to celebrate an achievement that belongs to all Canadians. This mission represents the ambition, ingenuity and determination that define our country. It’s a reminder that when we set our sights on something bold, there are no limits to what we can achieve.”
