Pinterest launches Pinterest Academy in Canada

Social media site Pinterest has launched an initiative called Pinterest Academy in Canada. The program is intended to provide educational materials to advertisers about ways to create effective campaigns on the site. It consists of 14 courses and 30 lessons providing advice on the various aspects of a Pinterest ad campaign.
“In today’s competitive advertising environment, it’s more important than ever for brands to have the tools they need to reach their audiences in a targeted, efficient and culturally relevant way,” said Kristie Painting, country manager for Pinterest Canada. “On Pinterest, where people come with high intent to act, brands are additive to their discovery experience. We created Pinterest Academy as a resource for every brand ready to tap into this highly engaged audience to derive full benefit from the Pinterest platform.”
