Mackenzie Investments resumes Top Peak contest

Toronto-based investment company Mackenzie Investments has resumed a promotion called “Mackenzie Top Peak.” It takes the form of a national contest to find the Canadian ski community that best exemplifies the slogan, “Be Invested. On and Off the Hill.” Eligible communities can enter via a number of social media “challenges” intended to demonstrate their “spirit for the sport.” Consumers will also be able to vote for their three favourite teams.

The winning team will receive $100,000 for a local community investment project. The contest also includes a second-place prize of $20,000, a third-place prize of $10,000 and $2,500 for each finalist from fourth to tenth, to be used for local community-based initiatives. The winner will be announced live on April 1 on CBC Sports Presents and CBC Gem. Participants can enter online at <http://www.mackenzietoppeak.ca>. The promotion will run until March 8.

“Top Peak is back and we couldn't be more excited to help celebrate the spirit of skiers across the country as they rally together for their local communities,” said Luke Gould, president and CEO of Mackenzie Investments. “Mackenzie is a long-time supporter of our country's ski communities and we're thrilled to continue our commitment to the sport and to support skiers of all levels.”
