Mackenzie Investments to sponsor True Patriot Love expedition

Mackenzie Investments of Toronto has signed-on as a sponsor of the True Patriot Love Scotiabank Mackenzie Expedition. The expedition will commemorate the first crossing of North America by Alexander Mackenzie in 1793. The event will be conducted by charitable organization the True Patriot Love Foundation, which works to promote the wellbeing of military and veteran families.
The organization will pair business people with ill and injured soldiers to travel to three remote locations in Canada. The trip which Mackenzie Investments will sponsor will recreate the last leg of Mackenzie's journey through British Columbia. Funds raised through the initiative will go toward programs and services supporting the transition of military personnel into civilian life.
