Corby Spirit and Wine readies New Year's promotion

Alcohol distributor Corby Spirit and Wine is preparing a promotion in collaboration with the Toronto Transit Commission called “Corby Safe Rides.” From 7 PM on Dec. 31 to 8AM on Jan. 1, rides on all TTC streetcars, buses and subways will be free. The intent is to encourage consumers to travel home from New Year’s Eve parties in a safe way. This will be the eighth year the company has conducted this promotion.
“We are very proud to partner with the TTC once again to help Torontonians get to and from their celebrations safely on such a busy night,” said Nicolas Krantz, president and CEO of Corby. “After an evening of celebration, going back safely to your loved ones should never be an afterthought. As a consumer-centric company, Corby will continue to encourage and remind all Canadians about responsible consumption.”
