Square launches Square Marketing in Canada

Online payment processor Square has launched a new service in Canada called Square Marketing. According to the company, the service is intended to help businesses communicate with new and existing customers. Businesses can create, send and track email marketing campaigns, promotions, discounts and coupons through a single interface. It is intended to compliment existing Square services that provide loyalty programs, gift cards and online directories.
“After a challenging year and a half, we’re finally seeing a return to a new normal as we navigate new ways of doing business,” said Karisa Marra of Square Canada. “With the busy holiday shopping season upon us, now is the perfect time for businesses to plan their sales strategy and reconnect with customers in meaningful ways.
