Explore Waterloo conducts ExploreMore promotion

Tourism organization Explore Waterloo Region has begun a promotion intended to encourage residents and visitors to support local businesses by booking overnight trips to the Ontario region. During the promotion, called “ExploreMore,” consumers who book a qualifying trip will receive a $100 Visa gift card to spent at local stores, restaurants and attractions. To be eligible, consumers must book a minimum two-night stay at a participating hotel between Nov. 12 and Dec. 31. The effort also includes a website at <http://www.exploremorewr.ca>.
“Our local tourism industry is still in the early phases of recovery following the pandemic,” said Minto Schneider, CEO of Explore Waterloo Region. “‘ExploreMore’ is designed to inject much-needed revenue back to our accommodation members through overnight stays, while also encouraging guests to visit and spend at the region’s shops, restaurants and attractions.”
