PepsiCo releases maple leaf-shaped Cheetos

PepsiCo Foods Canada has begun a promotion for its Cheetos snack food brand. For a limited time, the company will sell a variant of the product that is ketchup-flavoured, red in colour and maple leaf-shaped. Cheetos is a product of Frito-Lay North America, which is a subsidiary of PepsiCo.
“This summer, we wanted to add a uniquely Canadian twist to our collection of beloved snacks,” said Lisa Allie, senior marketing director of Frito Lay core brands at PepsiCo Foods Canada. “What better flavour is there than ketchup to expand our flavour offerings in Canada?”
