CarGurus breaks Consumer Confidence campaign

CarGurus, an online service for buying and selling used cars, has begun a new television campaign in Canada. Called “Consumer Confidence,” the campaign depicts the service as a way for consumers to have confidence in their automotive purchases. The creative depicts three scenarios depicting Canadians using the service to find a car, with a focus on the transparency of the experience. The campaign consists of three 30-second and three 15-second commercials, running on broadcast and cable television networks, as well as online. The campaign was developed by MuteSix.

“Our research suggests an ongoing shortage of confidence among Canadian buyers when looking to purchase a car,” said Sarah Welch, chief marketing officer at CarGurus. “Particularly with used cars, knowing what a fair price is can be very challenging for the average consumer. With this campaign, we’re aiming to demonstrate our consumer-centric approach and how we empower customers with the insights and details that matter for buying a used car.”
