Cue Digital, Polar sign mobile ad deal

Cue Digital of Toronto has signed an agreement with Polar of New York to offer the latter company’s “Boost Box” online advertising format in Canada. According to Cue Digital, it will be the first company in Canada to make this format available to advertisers. The system will allow advertisers to run their social media posts as mobile display ads on participating properties.
“Forty-one percent of social media users say they no longer trust the ads they see in social platforms,” said Kunal Gupta, CEO of Polar. “That growing banner blindness means that brands and advertisers need to diversify paid social spend. We chose to partner with Cue Digital in Canada because their premium publishers provide the trusted, brand-safe environment advertisers need to maximize their results.”
