Benefit Cosmetics to bring kiosks to Calgary airport

Benefit Cosmetics of San Francisco is expanding its operations in Canada. The company operates a collection of cosmetics retail kiosks in US airports. It will debut its first Canadian kiosk at the Calgary International Airport in the spring. The kiosks, which use the name Glam Up & Away, offer a range of Benefit products for sale to travelers. Each vending machine is designed to resemble a pink vintage bus. The installations also incorporate an interactive interface offering product information and cosmetics advice. In Calgary, the first machine will be located in Concourse C, to be followed by a second machine in Concourse E. The company plans to expand to additional Canadian airports in the future.
"Benefit is known for its product innovations and fun, feminine approach to beauty," said Deny DiFelice, general manager of Benefit Cosmetics Canada. "We always say that laughter is the best cosmetic, and this kiosk brings that aspect of our brand to life in an oversized, tangible way, making travelers stop, smile, and easily glam up before a flight. We are thrilled to be offering this in Canada."
