Weddingbells begins Canada's Cutest Couple contest

Weddingbells magazine of Toronto has begun a contest promotion tied to its 30th anniversary. The contest takes the form of a search for "Canada's Cutest Couple." Consumers who are engaged to be married can enter the contest by submitting a two-minute video describing why they are the cutest couple in the nation. Five couples will be selected by the Weddingbells editorial staff. The videos of the finalists will be placed on the magazine's website at <http://www.weddingbells.ca>, where public voting will determine the winner.

The winning couple will have their wedding featured in Weddingbells and receive $5,000 in merchandise from Charm Diamond Centres, a trip for two to the Grand Sirenis Mayan Beach Hotel & Spa in Mexico from Transat Holidays, $2,000 in merchandise from Delilah K Accessories and a $1,000 prize package from Benefit Cosmetics.

"Weddingbells' focus is on how to plan the perfect wedding, but for this contest, we're interested in hearing the story behind a couple's love story," said editor-in-chief Alison McGill. "We want to hear all the beautiful details of how their romance blossomed into engagement."

Weddingbells.ca is promoting the contest with online videos from Canadian celebrities. Submissions will close on March 28. Weddingbells is a publication of St. Joseph Communications.
