CBC debuts new media solutions group

CBC/Radio-Canada has formed a new media group called CBC & Radio-Canada Media Solutions. It will handle advertising sales for the organization's English- and French-language properties, including conventional and specialty television channels, radio and digital. The new unit will provide a single point of contact for advertisers and media planners seeking to combine traditional and digital media in their campaigns.

"Combining its media offerings with its proven expertise in business development, product integration, and content marketing and distribution, CBC/Radio-Canada is now be in a position to provide expert consulting that's in a class by itself across Canada and in line with the emerging needs of content distributors and the advertising market," said Jean Mongeau, general manager and chief revenue officer of CBC & Radio-Canada Media Solutions.
