New president and CEO at Yellow Pages

Montreal-based Yellow Pages has appointed David Eckert to the position of president and chief executive officer. He was previously the CEO of Hibu, a digital marketing company based in the United Kingdom. He was also a vice-president and partner at Bain & Company. Eckert joined the board of directors of Yellow Pages in May. Interim president and CEO Ken Taylor will remain senior vice-president and chief financial officer of the company.
"David has a keen understanding of our industry and a proven track record of improving business performance," said Robert MacLellan, chairman of the board at Yellow Pages. "As a CEO, David has demonstrated his ability to devise and execute on strategic plans to deliver results. David is the right person to lead Yellow Pages as we focus on stabilizing and growing the business over the long-term."
