DOUBLECLICK ADDS ANOTHER SERVICE

On-line advertising network DoubleClick of New York is now offering Web advertisers an editorial targeting service. The service delivers ad banners to Web pages with preselected keywords. For example, an airline advertiser can have its ad banners placed near articles or editorial copy that feature keywords such as vacation, travel or holiday. A cosmetics marketer could position its banners near make-up and beauty articles, or target references to the names of their star models. Last month DoubleClick introduced ClickBoosters, which places ad banners on the highest performing pages in terms of response. DoubleClick has sales offices in Toronto, Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Dallas, Los Angeles and Silicon Valley.
