Taco Bell begins Double Layer campaign

Fast food chain Taco Bell has begun an out-of-home campaign promoting a new menu item called the Double Layer Taco. The effort makes use of a billboard located at Adelaide and Spadina in Toronto that seeks to replicate the layered nature of the taco. Four local artists each created a layer of the execution, with each one building on the work of the previous artist. The creative will be complete on Jan. 16. The participating artists are painter Rudger Bosiljevac, illustrator Emily May Rose, artist and designer Troy Pynn and tattoo artist Brandon Ing. The company has also released an online video depicting the creation of the billboard. The promotion also includes social media activities.
