Sponsorship Marketing Council hires executive director

The Sponsorship Marketing Council of Canada has appointed Heather Field to the newly-created position of executive director. She will be responsible for the development and growth of the organization, with a focus on membership, awareness and support to the board of directors. Field most recently operated her own consulting firm called HJF. Prior to that, she was senior manager of sponsorship marketing at RBC. She has also been an account supervisor at MacLaren McCann and sponsorship officer at the Stratford Festival.
