Travel Alberta conducts Rocky Mountain campaign
Travel Alberta of Calgary has begun a digital campaign promoting tourism to the Rocky Mountains. Developed by Critical Mass in association with Flixel Photos, the initiative makes use of digital images that incorporate the illusion of motion. Each execution features an athlete frozen against a backdrop of mountains. This is the second time Travel Alberta has conducted a campaign using this technology.
"Alberta's Rocky Mountains are undoubtedly one of the most breathtaking places on earth, and we often talk about how time slows down or even pauses when you're mid-air on skis," said Phil Klassen, vice-president of global consumer marketing at Travel Alberta. "That's the moment of thrill that we were really trying to capture."
