New acting CEO at Travel Alberta

Calgary-based tourism organization Travel Alberta has appointed Chris Heseltine to the position of acting chief executive officer. He joined the organization in March of this year as vice-president of economic development and community engagement. Prior to that, he was assistant deputy to the Alberta Minister for Tourism. Outgoing CEO Royce Chwin will depart the organization on June 12. Travel Alberta is currently undertaking a recruitment process for a replacement.
