Kruger begins Scotties curling campaign

Kruger Products has begun a new television advertising campaign for its Scotties line of facial tissue, tied to the 35th year of the brand's sponsorship of the Canadian Women's Curling Championship. According to the company, the brand is now Canada's longest-running corporate sponsor of amateur sport. The national campaign consists of a 30-second commercial, supported by in-store materials. The commercial, called "Headphones," is intended to demonstrate the the passion players and fans hold for the sport of curling. The initiative also promotes the company's SpongeTowels, Cashmere and Purex brands. The 2016 Scotties Tournament of Hearts will take place in Grande Prairie, AB from Feb. 20 to 28.

"Kruger Products is extremely proud of our long-standing support of women's curling and the Scotties Tournament of Hearts which pays tribute to a celebrated Canadian team sport," said Nancy Marcus, corporate vice-president of marketing at Kruger Products. "We first partnered with Curling Canada in 1981, and since then, thanks to the efforts of thousands of volunteers, have created one of Canada’s best-known women's sporting events."
