National promotes West

National Public Relations of Toronto has promoted Kim West to the position of chief client officer. She will be responsible for the day-to day-operations of the Toronto office's marketing, technology, corporate, public affairs, government relations and healthcare practices. West was most recently director of integration. Prior to that, she was a business strategist at the agency's Halifax office. West joined National in 2012 when it acquired MT&L Public Relations, of which she was a co-owner.
"Kim's leadership and contributions have made a huge difference to our culture and performance," said Rick Murray, managing partner of National. "Through a combination of organic client growth, new business wins and the addition of National Equicom, the monthly volume of business in Toronto is now more than double what it was in January."
