Edelman adds two

Edelman Canada has appointed John Larsen to the position of executive vice-president and national lead of its crisis and risk practice. He will be based in Calgary and will begin work on Aug. 10. Larsen is currently the president of reputation management firm Zero Hour Strategy. Priot to that, he was an associate at Aplin Executive Search, senior vice-president at Global Public Affairs and president of the Corpen Group. He has also held communications positions with the City of Calgary, the Department of National Defence and the Canadian Forces.
Michael Murphy has joined the agency as senior vice-president and national lead of its health practice. He will be based in Toronto. Murphy was most recently a marketing consultant at Y&R Toronto, where he worked on accounts including Pfizer and Champix.
