Freedom 55 Financial, TSN begin fantasy golf promotion

Freedom 55 Financial of London, ON has begun a fantasy golf promotion in collaboration with specialty television channel TSN. The company will be the presenting sponsor of "TSN Fantasy Golf," a contest that will run during a number of golf tournament broadcasts through 2015.
Viewers can enter by visiting <http://www.tsn.ca/fantasygolf> and creating a fantasy team of professional golfers. Winners will be determined by the performance of these golfers in upcoming tournaments. The game, which includes $15,000 in prizes, will be promoted on TSN's broadcast and online properties.
Freedom 55 Financial's participating in the initiative was developed by SportBox Entertainment Group of Toronto.
"Great marketing is less about activation and more about integration," said David Corelli, chief strategy officer at SportBox. "People only choose things they enjoy to be part of their lifestyle. We identified fantasy golf as a natural place for Freedom 55 Financial to be able to deliver something people would want to be a part of and talk about."
