Maytag sponsors three Toronto 2015 athletes

Appliance brand Maytag has signed sponsorship agreements with three Canadian athletes who will compete at the Toronto 2015 Pan Am/Parapan Am Games: baseball player Vanessa Riopel and triathletes Paula Findlay and Kyle Jones. As part of their agreements, the three will act as spokespersons for the brand and will participate in various advertising, public relations, digital and social media initiatives. Maytag, which is a division of Whirlpool, is also the official athlete laundry services sponsor of the games.
"We are so proud to support these athletes and admire their commitment to excellence day in and day out," said Gina Flinton, senior brand manager at Whirlpool Canada. "Their dedication inspires us all to strive to perform at our best."
