Arrive Alive begins awareness campaign

Toronto-based non-profit organization Arrive Alive Drive Sober has released a new public service announcement as part of its 27th annual sober driving campaign. The 30-second video features a paramedic from the air ambulance service Ornge. He encourages viewers to exercise responsibility during the summer months, concluding with the words, "I hope we never meet." The video is accompanied by a radio commercial featuring curler Glenn Howard, who also encourages safe behaviour during the summer.

"Ornge is very excited to partner with Arrive Alive on their annual sober driving campaign," said Andrew McCallum, president and CEO of Ornge. "There are still a number of crashes we respond to that are related to impaired driving. We want to emphasize the importance of sober driving and planning ahead."
