Cisco begins I Can Learn STEM program

Information technology company Cisco Systems Canada has begun an online initiative called "I Can Learn STEM," tied to the company's sponsorship of the Toronto 2015 Pan Am/Parapan Am Games. Developed by Fuse Marketing Group of Toronto, the educational program consists of online video content that uses sports to illustrate scientific and mathematical principles. This content is based on the Ontario school curriculum and is aimed primarily at teachers and students. The videos, based on basketball, gymnastics, soccer, weightlifting and taekwondo, are located at <http://icanlearn.ciscotoronto2015.ca>, along with additional curriculum material and lesson plans.

"The Cisco 'I Can Learn STEM' program is exciting and has a powerful mandate to empower those it touches to believe that they can do anything they set their minds to," said Stephen Brown, president of Fuse Marketing Group. "We have developed a content strategy that will resonate with a new generation and live on a robust, flexible content management system that is accessible nationwide."
