Maytag holds Dependability Hall of Fame contest
By Adnews Staff
Maytag Home Appliances has begun a new national campaign called the "Dependability Hall of Fame." According to the company, the campaign will recognize Canada's most dependable people, places and things, as determined by popular vote. The first three entries were selected through a survey conducted in February. Niagara Falls was voted "Most Dependable Landmark," Chris St. Clair was voted "Most Dependable Weather Personality" and pizza was voted "Most Dependable Comfort Food." The company is now seeking nominations for the title of "Most Dependable Everyday Hero." Canadians can submit nominations at <http://www.maytagdependabilityhalloffame.ca> until April 27. Five finalists will be selected by a judging panel, then subjected to online voting. The winner will be added to the hall of fame and will receive a collection of Maytag appliances.
