Maple Leaf Foods extends Blue Jays sponsorship

Maple Leaf Foods has extended its sponsorship agreement with the Toronto Blue Jays in the name of its Schneiders brand. The company will remain the team's official supplier of hot dogs and sausages for the 2015 and 2016 seasons. The products will be served at 81 Blue Jays home games as well as at all events at Rogers Centre until the end of 2016. The deal also gives Maple Leaf advertising and brand exposure at Rogers Centre, during television and radio broadcasts and on Schneiders packaging nationally. It also includes sponsorship of the Red Hot Play of the Game feature on SportsNet radio broadcasts.

"We are so proud to be part of the tremendous enthusiasm surrounding the Blue Jays this year and continue our partnership as the team's official hot dog and sausage supplier," said Adam Grogan, senior vice-president of marketing and innovation at Maple Leaf Foods. "Enjoying a baseball game with a delicious hot dog or sausage is a tradition for almost every baseball fan and our partnership with the Blue Jays will drive significant brand excitement and growth across our Schneiders portfolio."
