Yahoo debuts video ads for app makers

Yahoo has introduced, in Canada and internationally, a new advertising option aimed at developers of mobile applications. The service, called Yahoo App Marketing, allows users to promote an application on various Yahoo properties through a self-serve online interface. Ads for the app will also appear in other apps. Each ad consists of a video, followed by a link that allows the viewer to install the application immediately.
