Cuso International debuts new website

Ottawa-based non-profit organization Cuso International has launched a new website at <http://www.cusointernational.org>. The new site, designed by Stephen Thomas of Toronto, is intended to better promote Cuso's expanding international development work and to aid volunteer recruitment, fundraising and public engagement. The new site is part of an overall reworking of the organization's brand, which will extend to all of its communications channels over time.
"One of the mandatory elements of the site redesign is that within 10 seconds of landing on the site, the viewer must be able to know who Cuso International is and what they do," said Simren Deogun, director of digital innovation at Stephen Thomas. "We also had to engage each visitor, on desktop and mobile, with a compelling call to action that was specific to their particular area of interest and which was clear, well-defined and easy to carry out."
Cuso International is an international development organization that works to reduce poverty and inequality in Latin America, the Caribbean, Africa and Asia.
