Canadian Scholarship Trust retains Brees Communications

The Canadian Scholarship Trust has hired Brees Communications of Toronto to develop a national awareness campaign for an initiative called The Learning Project. The project takes the form of an eight-week competition inviting parents and teachers to submit ideas for future ways for children to learn. Brees will handle creative development, media planning and media buying. The campaign, which will begin in April, will consist of print, radio, online and digital advertising.

"Broader reach, growing submissions and wider voting audiences are what we are looking for in an agency partnership," said Martha Turner, vice-president of marketing at the Canadian Scholarship Trust. "Brees brought the best ideas and thinking to make that happen. In order to prepare children for jobs of the future, we need to be investing early on in innovative learning experiences. This campaign brings awareness and excitement to a competition that helps kids learn for tomorrow."

The Canadian Scholarship Trust is a provider of registered education savings plans.
