Wildfire launches in Vancouver

A new agency called Wildfire Experiential and Events has opened in Vancouver. The firm will specialize in sponsorships, experiential marketing, branding and event management. It was founded by Bianca Knop and Kelly Thorpe. Knop was previously an account director at MacLaren McCann and a brand supervisor and event specialist at Cossette, while Thorpe was most recently sponsorship manager at Bell Canada. She also previously operated her own sponsorship consulting firm.
"We've worked on projects as part of an agency, on the brand side, and from the non-profit and property-driven angles," said Thorpe. "It's given us good perspective so we understand how to be strategic from every viewpoint. Our goal is to drive business results by delivering exceptional experiences, for clients, partners, suppliers and consumers."
