Canadian Scholarship Trust begins Canadian Living promotion

The Canadian Scholarship Trust has begun an advertising and promotional initiative with Canadian Living magazine. The initiative is in support of the trust's The Learning Project and Careers 2030 programs, which work to prepare young people for their future careers. The promotion will include print and digital advertising, content sharing, electronic newsletters and social media activities. The intent of the communications will be to get parents and children excited about education and their eventual careers.

"As a country, we need to spark a dialogue around education and preparing our young people for the jobs of the future," said Martha Turner, the trust's vice-president of marketing. "Partnering with Canadian Living and leveraging other TC Media brands and businesses will certainly play an important part in broadening our reach across digital and traditional media. We're fortunate to have found a partner who cares as much as we do about this important matter."

Careers 2030 is an online job fair that attempts to present what careers will look like in 15 to 20 years. The Learning Project is a biannual competition aimed at not-for-profit organizations that service young children. Canadian Living is published by TC Media.
