P.E.I. GETTING SET FOR 1996

Tourism P.E.I. is launching a TV campaign next spring to highlight the island's scenery and activities. The spots will feature 10-year-old Martha MacIsaac, a Charlottetown girl who was chosen last week from a group of over 200 candidates to add a personal touch to the 1996 tourism campaign. It will also probably use print, direct mail and the Internet. The ads are being produced by Damast Gorden & Associates of Toronto. Toronto-based Young & Rubicam is developing the marketing campaign. The talent search was done by Media Concepts of Charlottetown.
