Siemens Canada to sponsor Toronto 2015

Electronics company Siemens Canada has signed-on as a sponsor of the Toronto 2015 Pan Am/Parapan Am Games. The company will be the official supplier of medical imaging equipment to the event. Siemens will provide the Polyclinic at the CIBC Pan Am/Parapan Am Athletes' Village with portable and fixed digital X-ray and ultrasound machines, which the health care staff will use to diagnose athletes competing in the games. This is the first time Siemens has sponsored the Pan Am/Parapan Am Games.
"We are excited to provide our cutting-edge medical technology, which is used in top hospitals and clinics worldwide, to rapidly treat athletes so they can compete at their best at the Toronto 2015 Pan Am/Parapan Am Games," said Robert Hardt, president and CEO of Siemens Canada.
