Institute of Communication Agencies launches Client of the Year Award

The Toronto-based Institute of Communication Agencies has issued a call-for-entries for its inaugural Client of the Year Award. The new award will recognize the year's best working relationship between an agency and a client company. Entries will be evaluated on clarity of client-agency expectations, organizational structure, measurement and use of research and data. Submissions will be accepted until Aug. 30. The winner will be announced at the 2015 Cassies Awards in February.

"Great work starts with great clients," said David Gibb, chair of the institute's Client of the Year Award committee. "Part of our mission at the ICA is to promote the highest standards and best practices around commercial activity. We felt that it would be helpful for us to recognize and reward those client organizations who have made the effort to develop the best-in-class practices and partnerships that lead to the kind of brave and innovative work that is needed to deliver outstanding results."
