Siemens promotes hearing instruments

Hearing aid manufacturer Siemens Hearing Instruments, a division of Toronto-based Siemens Canada, has begun a new marketing campaign for several of its product lines. The initiative consists of direct mail to hearing care professionals, along with point-of-sale materials, brochures and posters. Special events, product demonstrations, public relations and online promotions will also take place. The awareness campaign promotes a number of new hearing instruments which are sleeker and more stylish, according to the company. The effort is primarily aimed at baby boomers. "The marketing campaign highlights inspiration and innovation, which reflects our direction in product development," said Karen Tuinstra, marketing director at Siemens Hearing Instruments.  "It communicates our industry leadership and our response to meeting the diverse and growing needs of Canadians of all ages with hearing loss, the invisible disability." The campaign creative was developed by Siemens Audiologische Technik in Germany and adapted for Canada by the marketing department of Siemens Hearing Instruments. Public and media relations are being conducted by The Siren Group of Toronto.
