Mary Brown's Famous Chicken and Taters rebrands

Toronto-based restaurant chain Mary Brown's Famous Chicken and Taters has undertaken a rebranding initiative. The new branding, developed by The Adlib Group of Toronto, uses the tagline "Honest to Goodness" and focuses on the Newfoundland heritage of the company. The rebranding includes a new website at <http://www.marybrowns.com>, as well as a new logo and in-store materials. The brand will be introduced with an advertising campaign consists of three television commercials and radio ads.

"The new Mary Brown's brand look and feel focuses on its 'down home' heritage with a family-friendly, welcoming, unpretentious and genuine experience at all touch points of the brand," said Adlib president Patti Laine. "The new 'Honest to Goodness' positioning perfectly sums up what Mary Brown's is all about and informs the tone of voice as well as the visual expression of the overall brand."
