RBC releases business banking mobile application

Toronto-based Royal Bank of Canada has released a new mobile application called RBC Express Mobile, aimed at business customers. The application is available for Android, Apple and Blackberry devices. It allows users to view business account balances and transactions, transfer funds between accounts, approve payments or transfers made by others and locate bank branches or automatic teller machines. According to the company, this is the first banking application in Canada that allows business customers to transfer funds between accounts using a mobile device.
"We know that business owners rarely sit still and that's why it's important for us to help them stay on top of their finances while on the go," said Blaise MacNeil, vice-president of business treasury solutions at RBC. "We're excited to bring our online business banking capabilities to our business clients with RBC Mobile Express. This way, they can manage their finances anywhere, anytime."
